Christmas :/ Why are the holidays the craziest time of year?
Especially in New York.
The amount of materialism and guilt that goes into holiday shopping is just plain.. disgusting.
Kids should only get presents… except.. Toy’s R Us is now a 24 hour madhouse where one gets run over to catch the last sale item on the shelf.
After that experience… I’ve decided that this year, I’ve intentionally steered clear of all gift-giving to see the reactions I get. Besides, what do you get people who have everything?
So… in lieu of presents, I’m donating money to various children charities and my time to Food Banks on Christmas Day.
